The fee for our TGE Consultant is $3,000 per month. Since we have only a small amount of money in the MSIPP treasury, we need to establish another means to cover the contract responsibility for the coming year. I am writing you at this time to establish a plan to cover the first year’s fees. This will allow MSIPP Board members time to determine plans for the subsequent years if the decision is made to continue Tara’s contract. I have personally “stepped up to the plate” with a pledge of $10,000 from Midwest Spine Institute to cover a substantial portion of Tara’s 2011 lobbying contract. Will you please consider a contribution from your practice? I think Tara has done a great job and really understands the IPM issues. In these turbulent times, it is important to have an advocate at the capital for Interventional Pain Management physicians in Minnesota. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please feel free to give me a call at 651-343-9815.
